Discuss the arrangements with the funeral director

We often provide funeral arrangement advice for those who’ve never dealt with a bereavement before. When discussing funeral arrangements with us, we encourage you to ask use questions. We want to make sure you understand everything that you’re paying for. Prior to payment, we will issue you an itemised invoice.

Payments – how do you pay for a funeral?

We generally accept cash or cheque as payment for our services. We will try to facilitate any other method that suits you.

Contacting the bank of the deceased is one avenue worth exploring prior to paying for the funeral. Most banks will release funds from the account of the deceased to cover the cost of a funeral.
